JOB DESCRIPTION
To assist in the maintenance – planned, preventative and breakdown – of all machinery and equipment at Doves Farm Foods to ensure their smooth and efficient operation. Huge potential for progression with the business for the right applicant.
REPORTING TO
Chief Engineer – Production Manager
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
- To attend all mechanical breakdowns, and assist in machinery adjustments
- Diagnosing and repairing faults
- Maintain machinery maintenance programmes and records
- Assist in maintaining an inventory of spare parts
- Keep workshop in clean & tidy condition and control tools on site
- Maintain and improve building fabric
- Provide holiday/sickness cover
- Deputise for Chief Engineer and assist with clerical matters as required
- Complete all documentation relevant to position
- Liaising with Managers to help implementing and enforcing company policies and procedures.
- Other duties as required
- Compliance with relevant UK law
