Are you a motivated Site Engineer looking to be part of one of the UK's most significant infrastructure programmes?
We are working with a leading engineering and construction organisation delivering a major power and civil infrastructure project across the East of England. This is an excellent opportunity to join a long-term project that will play a critical role in supporting the UK's future energy network while offering genuine career progression and development opportunities.
As a Site Engineer, you will support the delivery of complex civil engineering works including earthworks, drainage, highways, foundations, overhead line infrastructure and substation-related construction activities. Working alongside experienced project teams, you will contribute to the safe, efficient and high-quality delivery of works across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out setting out and surveying activities across project work areas.
- Support the planning and delivery of civil engineering construction works.
- Maintain accurate engineering records, site reports and quality documentation.
- Assist with inspections, quality assurance and compliance activities.
- Work closely with construction teams to ensure projects are delivered safely and on programme.
- Provide technical support and help resolve engineering challenges on site.
- Promote and uphold excellent health, safety, environmental and quality standards.

Essential
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a Site Engineer or similar role.
- Setting out experience within civil engineering or construction projects.
- Experience working on infrastructure, highways, utilities or major construction schemes.
- Valid CSCS Card.
- Civil Engineering qualification or equivalent.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Full UK working rights - This role does not offer sponsorship
- Full UK Driving Licence.
Desirable
- Experience in earthworks, drainage, roads, structures or foundations.
- Knowledge of piling and foundation construction.
- Experience within power, utility or substation environments.
- Familiarity with CAD, GIS or digital construction platforms.
- Additional certifications such as SMSTS, First Aid or HSG47
