Role Description

The Site Engineer will oversee and support day-to-day site operations on construction and petrochemical projects in Lincolnshire and Yorkshire. Responsibilities include:

The Site Engineer will also help identify and resolve technical issues on site, ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements, and contribute to continuous improvement in site processes. This is a full-time, on-site role.

Qualifications

  • Strong on-site experience in construction or petrochemical environments, with the ability to work safely and effectively.
  • Clear and professional communication skills to collaborate with project teams, contractors, and clients, and to produce accurate reports and documentation.
  • Quality control skills, including implementing checks, inspections, and procedures to ensure work meets required standards and specifications.
  • Engineering knowledge relevant to site design, setting out, and interpretation of technical drawings.
  • Ideally hold a degree or equivalent qualification in civil engineering or a related discipline and have proficiency with surveying instruments and basic CAD or measurement software.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to manage time and workload in a fast-paced site environment.
  • A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
