Site Engineer/Manager - Contract (Farnborough)
We are partnering with our client on a long-term civils groundworks and data centre project in Farnborough, running to February 2027. They are seeking a hands-on Site Engineer/Manager to play a pivotal role in both technical delivery and day-to-day site management, ensuring the project is executed safely, accurately and to the highest quality standards as a key member of our client's team.
Key Skills & Responsibilities
- Site engineering & setting out: Carry out precise setting out, checking levels, coordinates and dimensions against construction drawings.
- Drainage & ducting: Manage and set out underground services to ensure correct installation and integration with the wider civils works.
- Foundations & concrete works: Oversee foundation layouts, concrete pours and structural elements for accuracy and compliance.
- Road civil works, kerbs & external works: Coordinate construction of roads, kerbs and externals to meet project design and specification.
- Construction drawings & as-builts: Interpret drawings, perform checks, and produce precise as-built records for handover and QA.
- QA management & ITPs: Lead quality assurance, managing Inspection Test Plans, inspection records and all quality documentation.
- Project management & labour planning: Plan works, coordinate labour and resources, and oversee daily site delivery.
- Coordination & civils experience: Work closely with site teams and stakeholders, using proven civils groundworks and data centre experience.
- Commercial awareness: Maintain attention to detail on progress and productivity to support efficient project delivery.

- Rate: £400-£500 per day DOE

This contract is scheduled to start on 24 September 2026 on a Monday-Friday pattern. If this aligns with your experience and availability, we would be keen to discuss the role and our client's project in more detail.
