Overview

We're looking for a Site Expert & Trainer (SET) in Coventry!

The Site Expert and Trainer (SET) role directly influences line performance through owning specific equipment on their lines. Working as part of a collaborative team of SETs, the priority is to support the PMOs in executing the Operational Processes within their span of control. Any issues or defects they find should be rectified or escalated to you as part of these processes, and you will coach/problem-solve and use your technical subject matter expertise to resolve them. Anything you cannot resolve needs to be escalated to the Shift Technicians (STs) and Operational Team Leaders (OTLs) and fed into the daily management systems to ensure visibility of top issues. Coaching and mentoring to ensure that we have a fix-forever mindset.

Working hours: 42 per week

Shift Pattern: 4-on, 4-off, alternating day and night shift blocks

Salary: £43,957.33 (including shift allowance)

For certain roles, we may ask you to declare any unspent criminal convictions in accordance with the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 at a later stage in the recruitment process and prior to any offer of employment being made. This information will be treated in strict confidence and considered only in relation to your suitability for the role.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
