Site Finance Business Partner

Location: Slough, United Kingdom
Hybrid Working Policy – 4 days on Site, 1 day WFH.

The Site Finance Business Partner is a key member of the Slough Finance team. The role is responsible for enabling the Departments to reach short-and long-term targets by providing insightful analysis and recommendations in all financials aspects of the Site such as (but not limited to) cost transparency, Inventory, product profitability, key performance indicators in production, innovation, cost savings, planning cycles, and net working capital.

What you will do:

  • Enabling the Site to reach short-and long-term targets by providing insightful analysis and recommendations in all financials aspects of the plant such as (but not limited to) cost transparency, product profitability, key performance indicators in production, innovation, cost savings, planning cycles, and net working capital
  • Managing monthly financial closing, Outlooks and Risks and Opportunities process together with Platform Controlling (Revenue to Gross Profit; balance sheet and NWC)
  • Deliver high-quality, robust, and well-governed financials in support of the Business Strategy Review and Target processes. Ensure financial plans, assumptions, and outputs are accurate, consistent, clearly articulated, and timely aligned with Site Leadership
  • Investment Support for various CAPEX projects
  • Leading process and systems improvement projects (SAP enhancements, new process and tools introductions etc.) together with local and global supply chain group, corporate accounting, and global operations

What we are looking for:

  • Strong business partnering skillset with an ability to influence others
  • Professionally qualified accountant (ACCA or CIMA).
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing finance environment is highly desirable.
  • Hands-on approach with a willingness to be actively involved in day-to-day operational activities.
  • Strong knowledge and practical experience of standard costing and operational variance analysis is essential.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to influence and challenge senior business leaders.
  • Experience supporting or leading ERP system implementations would be advantageous.
  • Commercially minded with a proactive, problem-solving approach and a focus on driving operational and financial performance.
