Location: Didcot, Oxfordshire
Salary: Competitive + Package
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Foreman to join a major infrastructure scheme in Didcot, working for a well-established main contractor.
This is a hands-on site-based role overseeing the day-to-day activities of site teams and subcontractors, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards.
The Role
- Supervise and coordinate site operatives, subcontractors, and plant.
- Oversee day-to-day construction activities across the project.
- Ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with the programme.
- Coordinate labour, materials, and plant to maintain productivity.
- Monitor the quality of workmanship and ensure works are completed to the required specification.
- Brief site teams on RAMS, safe systems of work, and daily activities.
- Liaise with Site Agents, Engineers, and subcontractors to resolve issues and keep works progressing.
- Maintain accurate site records and report progress, issues, and requirements to the management team.
- Ensure housekeeping, health & safety, and environmental standards are maintained.

About You
- Previous experience as a Site Foreman / General Foreman on civil engineering or major infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of construction site operations and sequencing.
- Experience supervising site teams and subcontractors.
- Ideally experienced across earthworks, structures, or general civils.
- Good knowledge of health & safety requirements and site procedures.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- CSCS and relevant site qualifications.
- SMSTS or SSSTS would be advantageous.
