SITE GENERAL MANAGER
Loom Talent is supporting a leading international logistics business with the appointment of a Site General Manager for a new operation in Kent.
This is a genuine General Management position, with overall responsibility for the site's operational, commercial and people performance.
We are looking for someone who has already operated at General Manager level within a large-scale, complex logistics environment and is comfortable leading through a management structure rather than being purely operationally focused.
THE ROLE
You will take overall responsibility for the site, including:
- Leading and developing the site management team.
- Full operational responsibility across safety, service, productivity and quality.
- Customer relationship and service-level management.
- Budget, cost and P&L responsibility.
- Driving continuous improvement across warehouse, transport and inventory operations.
- Developing the site's people, culture and leadership capability.
- Working with senior leadership and central functions to support growth.
- Ensuring high standards of safety, compliance and operational performance.

THE PERSON
We are looking for an experienced General Manager or more senior candidate with a background in:
- 3PL / contract logistics / fulfilment or a similarly complex operation.
- Large-scale, high-volume environments.
- Leading sizeable teams through multiple management layers.
- P&L and commercial responsibility.
- Customer-facing operations and demanding service requirements.
- Delivering improvements across safety, productivity, service and cost.
