About The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Environmental, Health & Safety professional looking to take the next step in their career and assume responsibility for a manufacturing site.

As the site's EHS Lead, you will champion health, safety and environmental standards, ensuring legal compliance, reducing risk and helping to create a culture where safety and wellbeing are embedded in everyday decision-making.

Working closely with site leadership, operational teams and the wider UK EHS community, you will provide practical guidance, support continuous improvement initiatives and develop your leadership capability while owning the site's EHS agenda.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Act as the site's primary point of contact for all EHS matters, providing advice and support to managers and employees.
  • Support the development and delivery of site EHS improvement plans aligned to business objectives.
  • Drive engagement and awareness through coaching, training and safety initiatives.
  • Conduct risk assessments and support managers in identifying and controlling workplace hazards.
  • Monitor compliance with health, safety and environmental legislation and company standards.
  • Support incident investigations, identifying root causes and ensuring actions are implemented effectively.
  • Analyse EHS performance data and help identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Maintain and support the site's management systems, including ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
  • Deliver EHS inductions, training and awareness programmes across the site.
  • Share best practice and collaborate with EHS colleagues across the wider business network.
  • Support environmental initiatives, sustainability projects and continuous improvement activities.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
