Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Site Joiner role based in Nottingham. The Site Joiner will install and fit joinery and carpentry elements on residential and commercial projects, including framing, structural components, and finishing details. Day-to-day tasks include:

- Reading and interpreting drawings

- Assembling and installing doors, windows, skirting, and other fixtures

The role involves safe and efficient use of hand and power tools, collaboration with other trades and site supervisors, and maintaining a tidy, compliant work area. The Site Joiner will also support project timelines by identifying material needs, reporting issues, and contributing to continuous improvement of on-site processes.
Qualifications
- Strong carpentry skills with experience in site-based installation and general joinery work
- Proficient use of hand tools for measuring, cutting, shaping, and assembling timber components
- Confident working with power tools, following all safety procedures and best practices
- Experience in framing and structural carpentry, including accurate setting out and alignment
- Skills in finish carpentry, such as fitting doors, architraves, skirting, and other detailed joinery
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and commitment to high-quality workmanship
- Good communication and teamwork skills, with a professional approach on site
- Relevant trade qualification or apprenticeship in carpentry/joinery (or equivalent experience)
- Understanding of site health and safety regulations; CSCS card or similar certification is an advantage
