Site Lead - TJX Operation

Are you an experienced logistics leader who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment? Do you enjoy leading teams, driving operational performance and building strong customer relationships? Are you ready to take full ownership of a site and play a key role in delivering operational excellence?

Here at GXO, we're recruiting for a Site Lead to join our TJX operation in Mallusk. This is a full-time, permanent role, working Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:00, where you'll take overall responsibility for the safe, efficient and profitable operation of the site. Reporting to the General Manager, you'll lead all operational activities, ensuring customer expectations, service levels, financial targets and compliance requirements are consistently achieved while developing a high-performing and engaged workforce.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £40,000 per annum and 33 days annual leave including bank holidays. What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Provide overall leadership and accountability for the safe, efficient and profitable operation of the site, ensuring delivery of customer, operational and financial objectives
  • Lead and develop site colleagues, creating a high-performance culture focused on engagement, accountability, continuous improvement and operational excellence
  • Manage customer relationships as the primary site contact, ensuring high levels of service, responsiveness and customer satisfaction
  • Drive operational performance by monitoring productivity, service levels, quality standards and operational KPIs while implementing improvement initiatives where required
  • Ensure full compliance with all health and safety, transport, environmental, quality and statutory requirements while promoting a strong safety culture across the operation

What you need to succeed at GXO:

  • Proven experience within a senior operational leadership role across logistics, warehousing, transport, manufacturing or a similar operational environment
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience leading large teams through direct and indirect management structures
  • Experience managing customer relationships, service level agreements and operational performance within a customer-focused environment
  • Strong commercial and financial awareness, including budget management, cost control and operational reporting
  • A CPC in Transport Operations together with excellent communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills
