The Site Lead - Ireland
The Site Lead - Ireland is responsible for the overall leadership, performance and day-to-day operation of Ireland site, ensuring the safe, efficient and consistent delivery of customer orders. As the senior operational leader on site, the role has overall accountability for Production, Warehouse, Intake, Picking and Despatch, providing clear leadership to the site management team and ensuring all functions work together effectively.
The Site Lead is responsible for delivering against customer service, quality, safety, labour, waste and efficiency targets while creating a positive, accountable and high-performing site culture. Working closely with the Head of Operations and wider MM Flowers functions, the role ensures the Ireland operation is fully aligned with Group standards while retaining the agility and ownership required to respond effectively to local customer and operational requirements.

Requirements
- Significant experience managing operations within a manufacturing, production, warehouse or FMCG environment.
- Proven experience leading managers and multi-functional operational teams.
- Strong understanding of production, warehouse, intake, picking and despatch operations.
- Demonstrable experience managing operational KPIs including labour, productivity, waste, service and quality.
- Strong people leadership skills with the ability to build engagement, accountability and capability.
- Good understanding of Health & Safety, GMP and operational compliance requirements.
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to balance customer service, quality and cost.
- Excellent communication, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable operating autonomously while remaining connected to a wider Group structure.
- Ability to remain calm and decisive within a fast-paced and changing operational environment.

Desired Skills and Experience
- Experience within flowers, fresh produce, food, horticulture or another perishable product environment.
- Experience managing a smaller standalone or satellite manufacturing site.
- Knowledge of ERP and Warehouse Management Systems.
- Experience delivering significant seasonal peaks or periods of rapidly changing demand.
- Previous experience establishing or developing a new operational site or team.
