Arden White Aviation & Aerospace Recruitment is partnering with an established aviation component MRO organisation to recruit an experienced Site Leader.

This is a key leadership position focused on operational excellence, Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement. The successful candidate will take responsibility for site performance, people, productivity, quality, delivery, and the ongoing development of a high-performance culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the overall operational performance and development of the site.
  • Drive a strong Lean and Continuous Improvement culture across the organisation.
  • Lead Six Sigma, Kaizen, and process improvement initiatives to improve quality, productivity, cost, and delivery.
  • Implement Lean methodologies including 5S, Gemba, Value Stream Mapping, PDCA, Root Cause Analysis, and Standard Work.
  • Establish and monitor operational KPIs, using data to identify and eliminate waste and process variation.
  • Lead and develop operational and technical teams, promoting accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflow, capacity, turnaround times, and efficiency.
  • Work closely with Quality, Engineering, Planning, and Supply Chain to remove operational constraints.
  • Ensure the operation maintains high standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
  • Support the introduction of new products, processes, and capabilities.

About You

We are looking for an experienced Site, Operations, Production, Manufacturing, Engineering, or MRO Leader with a proven track record of improving operational performance.

You should ideally have:

  • Strong experience within aerospace, aviation, MRO, engineering, or manufacturing.
  • Proven experience implementing Lean, Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement programmes.
  • Experience with Kaizen, 5S, Gemba, DMAIC, PDCA, and Root Cause Analysis.
  • Strong data-driven approach to performance improvement.
  • Excellent people leadership and team development skills.
  • Experience working within a regulated or safety-critical environment.
  • Aviation Part-145 experience
