About Bodycote

At Bodycote, we’re more than the world’s leading provider of heat treatment and specialist thermal processing services. We’re a people business at heart. Our commitment to innovation and sustainability shapes everything we do. With a global footprint and a culture built on collaboration, curiosity, and continuous improvement, we create an environment where you can grow, contribute, and make a meaningful impact. Sustainability is central to our future. We’re on an ambitious journey to reduce our environmental impact through advanced technologies, smarter processes, and ongoing innovation, with our teams around the world playing a key role in making that happen.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on, multi-skilled engineer to join our team in a role that offers variety, autonomy, and real responsibility.

As Site Maintenance Engineer, you'll be at the heart of our operation, ensuring the reliability, safety, and performance of a wide range of specialist equipment and site infrastructure. No two days are the same. You'll tackle complex fault finding challenges, lead improvement initiatives, support engineering projects, and play a key role in driving operational excellence.

You'll work closely with production teams, contractors, and fellow engineers to deliver planned and reactive maintenance while identifying opportunities to improve reliability, efficiency, and site performance.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
