Are you an experienced Multiskilled Engineer looking for a new opportunity where you can make a real impact?

We are partnering with a well-established business that is continuing to invest in its people, machinery, and technology, in the search for a Multiskilled Engineer to join their growing engineering team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys variety, getting to the root of problems, and being involved in improvements rather than simply fixing the immediate fault. You’ll have the opportunity to work across a varied range of equipment and get involved in improvement projects, new equipment, upgrades, and commissioning activity.

About You

  • Engineering qualification such as HNC, HND, BTEC or equivalent
  • Previous experience working within an industrial or engineering environment
  • Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills
  • Excellent root cause analysis and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify the underlying cause of issues rather than simply fixing the immediate fault
  • Experience using CMMS systems, SAP, and Microsoft Office, including Excel
  • Ability to work a rotating shift pattern, covering both days and nights

About the role

  • You’ll be responsible for carrying out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs across a varied range of machinery and equipment
  • You’ll respond to mechanical and electrical breakdowns, diagnose faults, and complete repairs as quickly and safely as possible to minimize downtime
  • A key part of the role will be using your fault-finding and root cause analysis skills to identify recurring issues and improve equipment reliability
  • You’ll have the opportunity to get involved in improvement projects, equipment upgrades, installations, and commissioning of new machinery
  • You’ll play an important role in improving maintenance standards, equipment availability, and overall plant performance
