SITE MANAGER

- Restoration: external mansion block repair schemes and internal common part refurbishment.
- Cladding remediation: design and build contracts replacing combustible cladding to residential high-rise buildings.
- Fire compartmentation: certified fire door installation, repair and maintenance, as well as compartmentation schemes and installation of fire detection and suppression systems.
Job Purpose
The Site Manager's role is to manage the Company’s liabilities day to day on our sites normally under a JCT MW 2016 or Intermediate Form of Contract. They are the first point of responsibility in delivering the project supported by the contracts managers, and should be able to deal with all queries on site. You will be able to support other site managers with training, development and offer mentorship and guidance for the production team based on your knowledge and experience.

Main duties
- Uploading all site records to Lets Build/Boris and SharePoint.
- Planning the weekly site plans for labour and materials.
- Understanding scope of works and ensuring adherence to specification.
- Assisting in carrying out work to complete projects to deadlines.
- Responsible for monitoring of health and safety on site, plus the implementation and execution of our Contractor Phase Plan and Health and Safety File.
- Assisting with quantifying and scheduling mid-contract.
- Valuing and measurement of sub-contractor works using the templates provided by the Contract Managers.
- Co-ordinating Sub-Contractor start dates and managing on site activity, progress and quality of works.
- Working to the budget and aiming to reduce overall costs without compromise to quality and program.
- Selection and briefing of sub-contractors for mid-contract variations, obtaining competitive quotes to give best value.
- Act as a Liaison Officer with residents, clients and sub-contractors.
- Producing a weekly project update from LetsBuild or Boris as set out in the Project Plan.
- Identify need and request from sub-contractor site and work specific RAMS, before evaluating their suitability and issuing on site.
- Assisting with quantifying mid-contract.
- Identify instructions required and chase up CA via the weekly report on LetsBuild.
- Identify Provisional Sums / Quantities early and get these instructed as soon as possible.

Person Specification
- Construction based qualification to a level 3-6 to include; CSCS Site management, SMSTS, First Aid at work, Asbestos Awareness
- A minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Sound knowledge of building technology
- Ability to plan, coordinate, monitor and record
- Drive to succeed with a modern growing Company
