As part of our continued growth, we're looking for an exceptional Site Manager to join us. We're not looking for an average Site Manager. We're looking for someone who wants to be one of the best.
At Ultimate, we work smart, work hard, excel, succeed and have a great time doing it.
We're building a high-performing team of ambitious people who genuinely care about delivering exceptional projects and exceptional client experiences.
About the Role
As a Site Manager, you'll be at the heart of that. You'll take ownership of the day-to-day running of our sites, bringing together subcontractors, maintaining exceptional standards and making sure our projects are delivered safely, efficiently and with real attention to detail.
If you're someone who takes pride in your site, spots problems before they become problems and doesn't walk past something that isn't right, we'd like to hear from you.
We deliver projects nationwide, so you'll have the opportunity to work across the UK on a varied range of commercial interior projects. Flexibility to travel and work away from home when required is essential.
IS THIS YOU?
- You take real pride in the sites you manage.
- You're organised and always thinking ahead.
- You don't wait to be told what needs doing.
- You notice the details others sometimes miss.
- You hold yourself and others to high standards.
- You enjoy solving problems and finding solutions.
- You're confident managing subcontractors and different trades.
- You communicate clearly and build strong relationships.
- You stay calm and make good decisions when things get challenging.
- You take Health & Safety seriously and lead by example.
- You understand the importance of programme, quality and cost.
- You care about the client's experience, not just getting the job finished.
- You bring positive energy to site.
- You want to continuously learn, improve and develop your career.
- You want to be part of a business that's raising standards.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

- Confidence dealing with clients and professional teams.
