Role Description
The Site Manager will oversee day-to-day operations on industrial coating and painting projects. This role involves:

The Site Manager will:
- Monitor progress
- Manage materials and equipment
- Liaise with clients and subcontractors
- Maintain clear documentation and site reports
Additionally, the role includes:
- Enforcing health and safety policies
- Supporting risk assessments
- Ensuring compliance with relevant standards and company procedures
The Site Manager will also:
- Address site issues promptly
- Support continuous improvement
- Contribute to a positive, professional working environment
Qualifications
- Experience managing construction, industrial painting, or specialized restoration projects, including planning, scheduling, and on-site coordination
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to supervise operatives, motivate staff, and maintain a safe, productive site
- Good communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to manage resources, monitor quality, and maintain accurate project documentation and reports
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations, risk assessment practices, and safe systems of work relevant to industrial sites
- Previous experience in coatings, industrial painting, or construction-related environments is highly beneficial
- Relevant vocational qualifications or certifications in site management, construction, or health and safety (e.g., SMSTS, or equivalent) are an advantage
