Welcome Furniture FFE is the UK’s leading manufacturer of bedrooms and kitchens for the Purpose-Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) and Private Rental Sectors (PRS), producing, delivering, and installing around 5,000 rooms per year. The company operates from 180,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing space in Caernarfon, North Wales, recognized as the largest facility of its kind in the UK. With its own fleet of vehicles and a dedicated logistics team, Welcome Furniture FFE focuses on delivering high-quality products on schedule. The Site Manager is a full-time, remote role responsible for overseeing the delivery and installation of bedroom and kitchen furniture across multiple project sites. This position coordinates daily activities between logistics, installation teams, and on-site stakeholders to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and to specification.
Responsibilities include:
- Planning site schedules
- Monitoring progress
- Resolving operational issues
- Ensuring quality standards and health and safety requirements are met
The Site Manager will manage communication with clients and internal teams, maintain accurate site documentation, and support continuous improvement of installation processes.
Qualifications
- SSTS
- Strong site management and project coordination skills, including scheduling, resource planning, and progress monitoring.
- Experience in construction, fit-out, furniture installation, or a related sector, with a solid understanding of on-site operations.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations, risk assessments, and safe working practices on active sites.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
- Proficiency in using digital tools for reporting, documentation, and remote collaboration (e.g., project management software, spreadsheets).
- Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality and timely delivery.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setup, manage multiple sites, and travel to project locations when required.
