Site Manager: School Refurbishment and Build
Location: Kent

About The Role
We are currently recruiting a Site Manager to join a leading Tier 1 Main Contractor overseeing a major school refurbishment and extension project in Kent.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious, career-minded manager seeking long-term stability with an industry leader. You will take full operational ownership of the scheme, leading the build through its entire lifecycle: from early groundworks right through to final handover and snagging.
Key Responsibilities
- Full Project Delivery: Manage daily site operations from groundworks, substructures, and structural alterations through to high-spec fit-outs, commissioning, and client sign-off.
- Subcontractor and Supply Chain Leadership: Drive performance, ensure quality standards, and keep all trade contractors strictly aligned with the baseline construction program.
- Health, Safety and Compliance: Enforce Tier 1 Health and Safety standards on site, conducting RAMS reviews and managing CDM compliance in an educational environment.
- Technical Management: Review technical drawings, resolve RFIs on-site, and manage quality assurance alongside the Project Manager.

Requirements And Qualifications
- Track Record: Proven experience as a Site Manager delivering school or educational projects within a Tier 1 or top-tier regional main contractor.
- Technical Depth: Broad technical capability spanning groundworks, structural packages, and detailed internal finishes.
