About The Job
Join a Growing Planned Maintenance Team
Due to continued success and a strong pipeline of secured work, we are looking to strengthen our team with the appointment of an experienced Site Manager delivering social housing planned maintenance projects across Birmingham.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading contractor working in partnership with registered providers and housing associations to deliver essential improvements to occupied homes, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
About The Role
As Site Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day delivery of planned maintenance works across multiple social housing schemes.
Projects Will Typically Include
- Windows and door replacements
- Flat and pitched roofing works
- Fire Risk Assessment (FRA) works
- Kitchens and bathroom upgrades
- Aids and adaptations
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day delivery of planned maintenance projects on site.
- Lead operatives, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure quality, productivity, and safety standards are achieved.
- Manage work programmes and coordinate project activities to meet delivery targets.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation, RAMS, and company procedures.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, residents, and internal stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to the Project Manager.

What We're Looking For
We are seeking an established Site Manager with a proven track record within the social housing planned maintenance sector.
The successful candidate will be comfortable managing works within occupied properties, coordinating multiple trades, maintaining programme performance, and delivering excellent customer outcomes.
Essential Experience
- Previous experience managing social housing planned maintenance projects.
- Experience working within occupied residential environments.
- Strong knowledge of one or more key workstreams including roofing, FRA works, kitchens & bathrooms, windows & doors, or aids & adaptations.
- Experience managing subcontractors and direct labour on site.
- Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong understanding of programme management, quality standards, and health & safety compliance.
