ROLE: Site Manager

HOURS: 9.25 hours per day (10 days on, 4 days off)

LOCATION: Thurso

Salary: £63,100 - £71,100

We're looking for a Site Manager to lead operational delivery, manage client relationships, oversee site-based teams, and ensure contracts are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with client expectations.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Successfully manage contracts in accordance with client specifications and company operating standards, liaising with clients and ensuring optimal service delivery whilst acting as the main point of contact for client relationships.
  • Support the mobilisation of new contracts and clients, ensuring a smooth transition and effective operational delivery.
  • Lead and develop teams through coaching, mentoring, performance management and succession planning, whilst maximising staff engagement and utilisation.
  • Manage direct and indirect labour costs, resource deployment and operational budgets to ensure services are delivered within agreed financial targets.
  • Ensure all business-as-usual activities are completed on time, including staffing, payroll, invoicing, appraisals, salary reviews, quality compliance, KPI achievement and complaint resolution, whilst working collaboratively with internal departments and stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:

Applicants must meet the below defined requirements for the role.

  • Proven experience in people management, including coaching, mentoring, interviewing and team development.
  • Strong understanding of budgets, financial controls and resource management.
  • Demonstrable experience managing client relationships and delivering against contractual KPIs.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and negotiation skills with the ability to motivate high-performing teams.
  • Variable but generally one or more of the following: P402, P403, P404 and P405 BOHS proficiency modules, ideally with a Certificate of Competence or equivalent RSPH qualifications, together with a minimum of 3 years' industry experience.
