Site Manager (Fixed-Term Contract) – Retrofit

About The Job

We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to join our Retrofit delivery team on a 6-month Fixed-Term Contract.

This role will support the successful delivery of social housing retrofit projects across Croydon, Brent, Ealing and Kilburn. Reporting to the Project Delivery Team, you will be responsible for managing works from planning through to completion while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the required quality standards.

This position would suit a Site Manager who has previous experience delivering Social Housing Fund (SHF) retrofit programmes and can quickly integrate into an established delivery team, adding value through their existing knowledge of retrofit project delivery.

Scope of the Role

  • Manage retrofit projects from mobilisation through to completion.
  • Ensure health and safety standards are promoted and maintained across all sites.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site teams.
  • Monitor progress against programme and implement corrective actions where required.
  • Manage quality assurance processes and ensure works meet required standards.
  • Maintain accurate site records, including daily diaries, labour returns and progress reports.
  • Attend and lead site meetings with subcontractors, residents and key stakeholders.
  • Monitor costs and oversee variations where required.
  • Support the successful delivery of SHF-funded retrofit works across multiple locations.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
