Salary: Competitive Salary + Package
An established UK main contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager to join their team, working on projects across the Oxford and Swindon areas. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects typically valued between £10m and £20m, with a range of work including industrial warehouses, commercial buildings and other large-scale developments.
This is a great opportunity for a Site Manager with a strong all-round construction background who is looking for a long-term position with an established contractor and a strong pipeline of work across the region.

What you’ll be doing
- Managing the day-to-day running of construction sites from commencement through to completion
- Coordinating subcontractors, trades and site teams to ensure projects are delivered safely and efficiently
- Monitoring progress against programme and ensuring key milestones are achieved
- Maintaining high standards of health, safety and quality across the project
- Reviewing drawings, specifications and construction information
- Managing site logistics, sequencing and resource requirements
- Identifying and resolving site issues proactively
- Liaising with the Project Manager, subcontractors, consultants and wider project team
- Carrying out regular inspections and quality checks
- Ensuring works are delivered to programme, specification and required standards
- Supporting the successful handover and completion of projects

What we’re looking for
- Proven experience as a Site Manager working for a main contractor
- Strong all-round construction experience
- Experience delivering commercial, industrial or similar projects
- Confident managing subcontractors, trades and site teams
- Excellent health & safety and quality awareness
- Valid SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid qualifications; relevant construction qualification such as NVQ, HNC or equivalent preferred
- Based within a commutable distance of Oxford / Swindon and willing to travel locally for projects
