Job title – Site Manager – Social Housing

Location – Birmingham

Salary – Up to £50,000 per annum + package

Duration – Perm/Full-time

Sector – Construction - Kitchen & Bathroom social housing


A well established construction and refurbishment contractor specialising in social housing, kitchen & bathroom replacement programmes, and planned maintenance is looking for an experienced Site Manager to oversee multiple projects across Birmingham.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing business delivering high volume programmes at scale, with clear progression and strong support from senior leadership.

What you’ll be doing as Site Manager:

Reporting to the Operations Manager/Director, you will take full ownership of day to day site delivery, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to programme. You’ll manage trades, subcontractors and junior site staff while maintaining excellent relationships with clients and residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver kitchen & bathroom replacement programmes
  • Manage multiple trades and subcontractors
  • Lead and support a Trainee and an Assistant Site Manager
  • Maintain strong health & safety standards across all sites
  • Ensure works are delivered on time, to quality and within budget
  • Complete digital reporting and maintain accurate site records
  • Drive performance against KPIs
  • Maintain positive client and resident relationships
  • Support commercial teams with cost awareness and project performance
  • Uphold strong leadership, ownership and proactive site management

What we’re looking for in a Site Manager:

  • Proven experience delivering kitchen & bathroom replacement programmes
  • Experience managing high volume programmes
  • SMSTS, CSCS & First Aid
  • Strong health & safety focus
  • Organised, proactive and confident communicator
  • IT literate and comfortable with digital reporting systems
  • Commercially aware with good understanding of project costs
  • Ability to manage KPIs and performance targets
  • NHF Schedule of Rates / SOR code experience (desirable)
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to drive team performance
