Description
Are you an experienced Construction Site Manager looking to take the next step in your career? We are recruiting on behalf of a leading construction contractor with an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality projects across the Highlands.
Working across a varied portfolio of commercial, education, healthcare and residential developments, you'll play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

The Role
As Site Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of construction projects from start through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all day-to-day site operations to ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme and within budget.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, site teams and suppliers.
- Ensure works are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications and company quality standards.
- Promote and maintain the highest standards of health, safety and environmental compliance.
- Carry out site inductions, toolbox talks and regular safety inspections.
- Monitor project progress and report updates to the Contracts Manager and Project Manager.
- Coordinate deliveries, plant, labour and materials to maintain programme.
- Build strong relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
- Identify and resolve site issues quickly and effectively.
- Ensure all project documentation is completed accurately and maintained throughout the project.
- Manage project quality, snagging and handover to the client.
- Maintain excellent housekeeping and site presentation at all times.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Proven experience as a Construction Site Manager with a main contractor.
- Experience delivering commercial, residential, education or public sector construction projects.
- SMSTS qualification.
- First Aid at Work certification.
- Strong knowledge of current health and safety legislation.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills.
- Ability to coordinate multiple subcontractors and manage programmes effectively.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence.

Candidates must live within commuting distance to Inverness or be willing to relocate.
