Site Manager

Bespoke House Builder | 24 Luxury Homes

Location: Ringmer, East Sussex
Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 per annum plus package

Are you an experienced Site Manager with a passion for delivering high-quality residential developments? Our client is an established bespoke house builder with an excellent reputation for constructing premium homes throughout the region. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager to take full responsibility for a prestigious 24-unit development. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual who takes pride in quality workmanship, customer satisfaction, and delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Construction Director, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the site from construction through to completion and handover. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing all site operations to ensure programme targets are achieved.
  • Coordinating subcontractors and direct labour on site.
  • Maintaining the highest standards of health and safety.
  • Ensuring exceptional build quality throughout all stages of construction.
  • Managing site logistics and material deliveries.
  • Conducting regular progress meetings with subcontractors and senior management.
  • Managing inspections, quality control procedures and NHBC requirements.
  • Overseeing customer care and ensuring a high-quality finish for purchasers.
  • Driving productivity whilst maintaining quality standards.
  • Producing weekly reports and maintaining accurate site records.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager within residential house building.
  • Experience delivering bespoke, high-specification housing developments.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes and sequencing.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple trades and subcontractors effectively.
  • A quality-focused approach with strong attention to detail.
  • SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications essential.
  • NHBC experience desirable.
