Site Manager Required In The City Of London

Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, they are looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager to oversee projects from inception through to completion.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Responsibilities Of The Site Manager

• Manage site operations from mobilisation through to practical completion.
• Coordinate subcontractors, direct labour, and material deliveries to maintain programme.
• Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Enforce health and safety procedures, ensuring full compliance with current legislation and company policies.
• Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and regular safety inspections.
• Produce and maintain site diaries, progress reports, and photographic records.
• Attend client, design team, and subcontractor meetings.
• Work closely with Contracts Managers, Quantity Surveyors, and project teams to resolve commercial and technical issues.
• Monitor project programmes and identify potential delays, implementing corrective actions where required.
• Manage quality control inspections and snagging throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate inspections with Building Control and other relevant authorities where necessary.
• Ensure efficient use of labour, plant, and materials to maximise productivity.
• Maintain excellent relationships with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Oversee project handovers and ensure all completion documentation is submitted accurately.
