Successfully managing contracts according to the client specification and Tersus' operating standards, liaising with clients, ensuring optimal service delivery. General point of contact for client liaison.
- Mobilising new contracts and clients.
- Supporting regional managers in the management of the team.
- Supporting the Regional Manager in resource management including optimising resource recruitment and deployment. Maximising staff utilisation rates.
- Ensuring cost-base of direct and indirect labour is within agreed budget.
- Ensuring directly or via delegation that all business as usual tasks are completed on-time including day-to-day queries, general staffing, payroll, invoicing, line management, appraisals, and salary review requirements.
- Ensuring cooperation with the Quality Manager to ensure the quality processes required of a UKAS accreditation are met and quality levels continuously improved.
- Ensuring satisfied clients and that their KPIs are met (including quality and report delivery KPIs).
- Ensuring liaison with other regions to ensure contracts are being successfully serviced.
- Proactively assisting in any complaint investigation.
- Delivering inspirational leadership, development, and motivation to the team.
- Maximising staff engagement opportunities.
- Ensuring appropriate delegation of duties including succession (and deputy) planning.
- Working proactively as part of a team and with other internal teams (including HR partners, IT partners, Finance, and Fleet Partners).
- Identifying new business opportunities and representing Tersus at required events including but not limited to: client contract meetings, tender interviews, trade exhibitions, and conferences.
- Attending Tersus management meetings when required including providing all necessary forecast and scorecard information.
- Assisting in integration tasks of new businesses acquired by the company as and when required.
- Upholding company mission, vision, and values.
- Any other specific, reasonable request as instructed by the directors of Tersus.

Experience/Knowledge
- People Management and development, coaching, mentoring, interviewing, etc.
- Understanding Budgets and Financial Controls.
- Client Relationships.
- IT Literate.
- Excellent leadership and negotiation skills.
- Excellent communicator both verbal and written.
- Excellent team builder and motivator.
- Ability to work on own initiative.
- Flexibility and responsiveness to work and travel.
Qualifications
Variable but generally one or more of the following: P402, P403, P404, and P405 BOHS proficiency modules, ideally with Certificate of competence or the equivalent RSPH Qualifications and at least 3 years' industry experience.
