Conrad Consulting are with an established and highly respected main contractor who are looking to recruit an experienced Site Manager to join its growing construction team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Site Manager with a strong background in refurbishment and fit-out projects to work on a varied portfolio of high-quality developments across Scotland's Central Belt.
The successful Site Manager will play a key role in delivering projects safely, on programme, and to the highest quality standards while working closely with clients, subcontractors, and the wider project team.
The Role Of The Site Manager
As Site Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of refurbishment and fit-out projects from initial site set-up through to completion. The Site Manager will ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with programme, budget, and quality expectations.

Key Responsibilities Include
- Managing all site activities and supervising subcontractors.
- Ensuring health, safety, and environmental standards are maintained at all times.
- Coordinating trades to ensure projects are delivered on schedule.
- Monitoring programme progress and reporting to the Contracts Manager.
- Maintaining high-quality standards throughout each phase of the project.
- Managing site documentation, inspections, and compliance.
- Liaising with clients, consultants, and the wider project team.
- Identifying and resolving site issues to keep projects running smoothly.
Requirements Of The Site Manager
To be considered for this Site Manager position, you will have:
- Previous experience working as a Site Manager within the construction industry.
- A proven background delivering refurbishment and fit-out projects.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
- The ability to manage multiple trades while maintaining programme and quality.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
- Valid SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid qualifications.
