Overview

WPS are looking to appoint two Site Managers to join our growing Planned Maintenance team within social housing.

Due to continued contract growth and an increasing workload, we are expanding our operational team and seeking experienced Site Managers who can successfully oversee planned works programmes within occupied homes. This is an excellent opportunity to join a long-term contract where customer satisfaction, quality delivery and operational excellence are at the heart of everything we do.

Key Duties

As Site Manager, you'll be responsible for the safe, efficient and successful delivery of planned maintenance works while ensuring a positive experience for residents throughout the programme.

  • Managing subcontractors, operatives and site-based teams.
  • Coordinating daily site activities and programme delivery.
  • Monitoring health & safety, quality and productivity across the project.
  • Carrying out site inspections and ensuring compliance with company procedures.
  • Building strong working relationships with residents, client representatives and internal teams.
  • Managing materials, logistics and site resources.
  • Producing progress reports and programme updates.
  • Driving high standards of customer service and project delivery.
  • Identifying and resolving site challenges to maintain programme performance.

Experience Required

  • Proven Site Management experience within social housing, planned maintenance or refurbishment projects.
  • Strong understanding of working within occupied properties.
  • Experience managing subcontractors and multiple workstreams.
  • Ability to deliver projects safely, on programme and to a high quality standard.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • SMSTS qualification (essential).
  • Full UK Driving Licence (essential).

Experience delivering works such as kitchens, bathrooms, roofing, windows, doors, external works, decarbonisation upgrades and general planned maintenance would be advantageous.
