The Role
We are looking for a confident and experienced Site Manager to take day-to-day responsibility for the safe and efficient delivery of a comprehensive soft strip-out project.
The successful candidate will take ownership of the site from establishment through to final clean and handover, ensuring all works are delivered safely, on programme and strictly within the agreed scope.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the project from site establishment through to final handover.
- Ensure all works are delivered in accordance with the agreed scope, programme and approved RAMS.
- Carry out site inductions and ensure all personnel are appropriately briefed.
- Check CSCS cards, training records and right-to-work documentation.
- Allocate labour and gangs by floor and work element, setting daily productivity targets.
- Monitor labour requirements and raise any potential shortages at an early stage.
- Plan and manage the floor-by-floor sequence of works and waste movements.
- Ensure waste is appropriately segregated and documented.
- Maintain accurate daily site diaries, labour records, progress reports and site documentation.
- Record photographic evidence of works before and after strip-out.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
