An established luxury residential main contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager to deliver prestigious £5 million townhouse refurbishment projects across Prime Central London.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a quality-driven business specialising in the refurbishment and restoration of some of London's finest homes. The company is recognised for delivering exceptional craftsmanship, meticulous attention to detail and working collaboratively with leading architects, interior designers and private clients on bespoke residential projects. They provide construction management, project management and high-end fit-out services, delivering every project to the highest standards.

Reporting to the Project Manager

You will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme and to an exceptional level of quality.

Typical Projects Include:

  • Luxury townhouse refurbishments valued around £5 million
  • Structural alterations and temporary works
  • Basement construction and complex refurbishments
  • High-end bespoke joinery and interior fit-out
  • Premium finishes throughout occupied and sensitive residential environments

Responsibilities

  • Manage all day-to-day site activities from mobilisation through to handover.
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and direct labour.
  • Ensure programmes are achieved and proactively manage site progress.
  • Maintain the highest standards of health, safety and environmental compliance.
  • Carry out quality inspections and oversee snagging through to completion.
  • Coordinate deliveries, logistics and site access within Central London.
  • Work closely with Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors, architects and consultants.
  • Chair subcontractor meetings and maintain accurate site records.
  • Monitor workmanship to ensure finishes meet the expectations of luxury residential clients.
  • Build positive relationships with clients, neighbours and design teams throughout the project.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager delivering luxury residential refurbishment projects.
  • Experience managing projects valued between £2m–£10m.
  • Strong knowledge of structural works, high-end fit-out and finishing trades.
  • Experience working within occupied or prestigious residential properties is desirable.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to drive programme while maintaining exceptional quality standards.
