CNX Recruitment Recruitment for Site Manager

CNX Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of a leading construction contractor for an experienced Site Manager to join their team, covering projects across West Scotland.

The Role

Manage the day-to-day operations of construction projects across West Scotland. Coordinate subcontractors, trades and site personnel. Ensure projects are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards. Manage site programmes, sequencing and short-term planning. Monitor progress and identify and resolve any issues that may impact delivery. Liaise with clients, subcontractors, suppliers and project teams. Ensure all site documentation, records and reporting are maintained accurately. Conduct site meetings, toolbox talks and inspections as required. Maintain a strong focus on health & safety and compliance. Assist with project handovers and ensure works are completed to specification.

About You

The successful candidate will ideally have:

Proven experience as a Site Manager within construction. A background in interior fit out or main contracting. Strong knowledge of construction processes and site operations. Excellent organisational and communication skills. Good commercial and programme awareness. Strong IT literacy and confidence using digital systems and project documentation. Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and site activities effectively. A proactive approach to problem solving. Relevant construction qualifications, including SMSTS and CSCS. Full UK driving licence.
