Role Description

The Site Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Newport & Bristol, responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations at installation and service sites. This includes coordinating work schedules, supervising on-site teams, ensuring safe working practices, and maintaining high standards of workmanship and customer service. The Site Manager will monitor project progress, manage materials and equipment, and address any issues that arise to keep projects on time and within scope. The role involves liaising with customers, internal teams, and external partners to ensure clear communication and smooth project delivery. The Site Manager will also complete site reports, maintain compliance with relevant regulations, and contribute to continuous improvement of processes and procedures.

  • Experience in site or project management within construction, home energy, or a related field, with the ability to oversee multiple tasks and teams.
  • Knowledge of health and safety standards, risk assessments, and compliance requirements relevant to on-site work.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, including planning, scheduling, and resource coordination.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with customers, technicians, and office staff.
  • Problem-solving abilities and sound judgment for handling site issues and making decisions under time constraints.
  • Basic proficiency with digital tools and software for reporting, scheduling, and documentation.
  • Relevant vocational qualifications or certifications in construction, energy efficiency, or site management are advantageous.
  • Valid driver’s license and flexibility to work on-site throughout the week as required.
