Site Manager (Drylining) - 2-Month Contract

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager for a short-term contract on a care home project. The successful candidate will take responsibility for managing day-to-day site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to the highest quality standards.

This role requires a strong background in drylining and interior fit-out, with experience managing subcontractors and coordinating works on live construction sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all day-to-day site activities throughout the project.
  • Oversee drylining packages, including partitions, plasterboarding, suspended ceilings and associated interior fit-out works.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, labour, materials and deliveries to maintain programme.
  • Ensure all works are completed in line with health and safety legislation and company procedures.
  • Carry out site inspections, quality checks and snagging.
  • Produce and review RAMS, permits to work and site documentation.
  • Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks and daily briefings.
  • Liaise with the client, project team and subcontractors to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Monitor progress and resolve site issues efficiently to minimise delays.

Candidate Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Site Manager within drylining or interior fit-out.
  • Strong knowledge of drylining systems, partitions, suspended ceilings and finishing works.
  • Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating multiple trades on site.
  • Excellent understanding of health and safety regulations and quality assurance.
  • Strong communication, organisational and leadership skills.
  • Ability to deliver projects to programme and specification.
