About the Role

My client is looking for an experienced Site Managers with an EV Charging or civils background to oversee the delivery of EV charging infrastructure projects across the North West & Midlands.

This role is field-based and requires frequent travel across the region. You’ll be managing multiple sites concurrently, ensuring safe, high-quality delivery and acting as the on-the-ground lead for each project.

Key Responsibilities

  • Site Setup & Mobilisation: Ensure sites are properly set up, including crew inductions and job briefings.
  • Project Oversight: Oversee 2–3 active sites at a time, ensuring works are delivered to spec, safely, and on schedule.
  • Travel & Coordination: Travel across the North West & Midlands as needed.
  • Communication: Maintain daily contact with site teams and contractors, even when not physically present.
  • Issue Resolution: Proactively identify and resolve challenges to keep projects on track.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in Civils or Utilities Projects: Ideally with EV infrastructure exposure, though backgrounds in civils highly relevant.
  • Independent & Proactive Approach: Able to lead and deliver across multiple remote sites with limited supervision.
  • Qualifications (Preferred): SMSTS, Streetworks (NRSWA), SHEA, CSCS – although attitude, safety mindset, and practical knowledge are key.
  • Flexibility to Travel: Based in the North West & Midlands with willingness to travel.
