The Opportunity
Join OCU Group and play a key role in delivering critical power infrastructure projects across the SHEPD ED2 Framework. As a Site Manager, you'll lead multidiscipline teams delivering substation, civils, cabling, and overhead line works, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

What You'll Do
- Lead site teams and subcontractors to deliver project activities safely, efficiently, and in line with programme requirements.
- Coordinate civils, cabling, substation, and overhead line workstreams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Implement project programmes, work packs, permits, and risk controls across all site activities.
- Conduct site briefings, toolbox talks, inspections, and audits to maintain exceptional safety performance.
- Liaise with clients, stakeholders, local authorities, and third parties to support effective project execution.
- Monitor site progress, identify risks, and implement solutions to maintain delivery milestones.
- Oversee quality assurance processes, inspections, testing activities, and project documentation.
- Maintain accurate records and reporting to support project governance, compliance, and commercial performance.

What You'll Bring
Essential:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager within utilities, power, energy, or infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of construction health and safety legislation and CDM regulations.
- Experience managing site teams, subcontractors, and operational resources.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to interpret and implement project documentation, drawings, permits, and RAMS.
- Full UK driving licence.
Desirable:
- Experience delivering power infrastructure projects involving substations, cabling, civils, or overhead lines.
- Bonus if you have experience working on SSEN, SHEPD, or other DNO frameworks.
- It would be great if you have knowledge of network access requirements, outage planning, or permit systems.
- It would be great if you've worked within regulated utility environments with strong quality and compliance requirements.
