Lead the Future of Medical Device Manufacturing

Polarseal, part of the ADDEV Materials Group, is a rapidly growing Contract Development and Manufacturing Organisation (CDMO) serving the global medical device sector. As we continue our ambitious growth journey, we are seeking an exceptional Site Manager to lead our flagship UK manufacturing facility in Carlton, Suffolk.

This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of a thriving manufacturing site and play a pivotal role in its next phase of expansion. Reporting directly to the Operations Director, you will become the senior leader on site, driving operational excellence, developing high-performing teams, and delivering sustainable improvements across safety, quality, productivity, and culture.

If you are a hands-on manufacturing leader who thrives in fast-paced, regulated environments and enjoys turning challenges into opportunities, we'd love to hear from you.

About the role

As Site Manager, you will have full responsibility for the day-to-day leadership of the site, ensuring world-class standards across manufacturing operations, engineering, supply chain integration, quality, and health & safety.

  • Spend significant time on the shop floor, working closely with teams to understand operational challenges first-hand, remove barriers to performance, and embed lasting improvements.
  • This role offers significant scope for future growth, including the opportunity to take ownership of the site's full P&L and play a key role in the wider Group's international manufacturing strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership

  • Lead all site operations to achieve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people objectives.
  • Drive improvements in operational performance, efficiency, service levels, and productivity.
  • Develop and maintain a high-performance culture built on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Own key performance indicators including OTIF, OEE, labour efficiency, asset reliability, and cost control.
  • Establish and lead effective daily, weekly, and monthly operational review processes.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
