Site Manager Required In Oxfordshire
GVR Solutions are looking for a Site Manager to oversee the delivery of a high-end retail joinery fit-out project in Oxfordshire.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established interior fit-out contractor renowned for delivering premium commercial fit out projects across London and surrounding areas.
As Site Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of the site, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to the exceptional quality standards expected on a high-specification retail fit-out.
Key Responsibilities Of The Site Manager
- Manage all day-to-day site operations from commencement through to practical completion.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and direct labour to maintain programme.
- Oversee the installation of high-end bespoke joinery and interior finishes.
- Ensure works are completed to the highest quality standards with a keen eye for detail.
- Carry out daily site briefings, toolbox talks and inductions.
- Monitor and enforce Health & Safety in accordance with company procedures and current legislation.
- Manage site logistics, deliveries and material storage within a live project environment.
- Conduct quality inspections and snagging throughout the project lifecycle.
- Liaise with clients, designers, project managers and senior management, providing regular progress updates.
- Ensure accurate site records are maintained, including RAMS, permits, site diaries and progress reports.
- Drive programme, resolve site issues efficiently and maintain strong working relationships across all trades.

Requirements Of The Site Manager

- Previous experience managing high-end retail, luxury commercial or premium interior fit-out projects.
- Strong understanding of bespoke joinery installation and luxury finishes.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple trades whilst maintaining programme and quality.
- SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certificates are essential.
- Strong knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and site compliance.
