Site Manager – Internals

Location: Latimer Road, West London, W10

Project: One block – Low rise 38-unit residential development

Duration: Permanent

Start: Immediate / ASAP

We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to take responsibility for the internal works package on a 38-unit residential development near Latimer Road, London. The successful candidate will have a strong dry lining background, combined with good M&E knowledge and a proven track record managing internal finishes on residential projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee all internal works across the 38 units.
  • Coordinate and manage dry lining, plastering, ceilings, carpentry, doors, flooring and associated finishing trades.
  • Coordinate M&E installations, ensuring works are properly sequenced and coordinated with other trades.
  • Manage subcontractors and labour on a daily basis.
  • Monitor progress against the programme and ensure key deadlines are achieved.
  • Maintain high standards of quality, workmanship and health & safety.
  • Coordinate inspections, snagging and remedial works through to completion.
  • Liaise closely with the Project Manager, Site Team, subcontractors and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure materials, labour and plant are available when required.
  • Identify and resolve issues before they impact programme or quality.
  • Maintain accurate site records and ensure works are completed in accordance with drawings, specifications and relevant regulations.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has proven experience as a Site Manager overseeing internal works on residential developments.
  • Has strong hands-on knowledge of dry lining and internal construction.
  • Has a good understanding of M&E services and coordination.
  • Has experience managing multiple trades and subcontractors.
  • Can read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Is organised, proactive and able to drive the programme forward.
  • Has excellent attention to detail and takes pride in quality.
  • Communicates effectively with trades, subcontractors and senior management.
  • Can work independently and take ownership of the internal package.

Essential

  • Proven Site Management experience within residential construction.
  • Strong dry lining / internal fit-out experience.
  • Good M&E knowledge.
  • SMSTS.
  • CSCS.
  • First Aid.
  • Excellent understanding of health & safety and site procedures.
