Site Manager

Location: Devon
Contract Type: Contract (Ltd Company or CIS)
Duration: Immediate Start until December 2026
Rate: £350-£400 per day
Working Pattern: Full-Time, Site-Based

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the delivery of specialist security infrastructure works on a major project in Devon. This position is with a well-established specialist contractor operating within secure and high-profile environments. The successful candidate will take responsibility for the overall site management of the project, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and in accordance with programme requirements.

This role is focused on site leadership, compliance, stakeholder management, and project coordination rather than direct supervision of operatives. Dedicated supervisors will manage the day-to-day workforce, while the Site Manager will oversee project documentation, health & safety compliance, progress reporting, quality assurance, and client liaison.

Key Responsibilities

  • Overall site management of a specialist security infrastructure package.
  • Maintain and manage all Health & Safety documentation and project records.
  • Ensure site documentation remains accurate, compliant, and up to date.
  • Attend and contribute to Health & Safety, progress, planning, and coordination meetings.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between the client, project stakeholders, and delivery teams.
  • Monitor project milestones and ensure works remain on programme.
  • Coordinate with site supervisors and subcontractors to support successful project delivery.
  • Ensure RAMS, permits, inspections, audits, and site records are properly managed.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and compliance audits.
  • Manage quality assurance processes and project handover documentation.
  • Identify project risks and implement appropriate mitigation measures.
  • Ensure full compliance with all health, safety, environmental, and security requirements.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
