Position: Site Manager

Location: Manchester University

Start Date: ASAP

We are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager for a temporary contract overseeing refurbishment works at Manchester University. The role is due to run until the end of August.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day running of the site
  • Coordinate subcontractors and trades
  • Monitor progress and quality of works
  • Ensure works are completed safely and on programme
  • Carry out site inductions and toolbox talks
  • Maintain health & safety standards across the site
  • Keep accurate site records and documentation

Requirements

  • Valid SMSTS (essential)
  • Valid CSCS Card (essential)
  • First Aid at Work certificate (essential)
  • Previous Site Management experience
  • Refurbishment experience preferred
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Work-based references
