Main Purpose of the Role
Lead and coordinate supervisors, teams, and site activities on behalf of the Senior Site Manager / Project Manager.
Report to the Installation Manager or as required by project deployment.
Ensure a strong duty of care for self and all personnel on site, maintaining safe working practices at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Adhere to all applicable QEHS (Quality, Environment, Health & Safety) procedures as outlined during site induction.
- Lead assigned teams across multiple work fronts, ensuring delivery in line with time, quality, and cost objectives.
- Perform additional duties within competence, following relevant industry and quality standards as directed.
- Work within defined project timelines and proactively identify and communicate potential delays.
- Coordinate with other teams and contractors to ensure safe, efficient, and effective site operations.

Key Objectives
- Lead by example by consistently following and promoting site rules and standards.
- Comply with Health & Safety, Environmental, and Quality plans, ensuring all responsibilities are met.
- Support the preparation and completion of project documentation in line with milestone deadlines.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned tasks and adherence to timesheet and expense submission requirements.
Experience
- Apprentice trained with C&G / NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) and a minimum of 3 years’ supervisory experience, or degree qualified with at least 2 years’ supervisory experience in:
- Electricity Supply Industry construction
- Power Generation
- Oil & Gas
- General Construction
- Experience in mechanical and electrical installation activities preferred.
- Knowledge of working within substation environments and compliance with industry regulations.
- Proven ability to lead teams effectively, both independently and collaboratively.

Client/Project-Specific (as required):
- BESC / Competent Person certifications
- Relevant substation authorisations (e.g., NSI6, NSI8 – limited)
