We're looking for an experienced Site Manager
We're looking for an experienced Site Manager to join a well-established team responsible for the ongoing management, maintenance and enhancement of a high-quality property environment.
This is an opportunity to take ownership of a broad range of maintenance and construction activities, from managing day-to-day repairs and contractor performance through to supporting the delivery of refurbishment and development projects. No two days are the same, making this an ideal role for someone who enjoys variety, problem-solving and working closely with multiple stakeholders.
Working in a predominantly office-based position with regular site presence, you'll play a key role in ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to an exceptional standard.
What you'll be doing
- Managing maintenance, repair and improvement works across a diverse property portfolio.
- Overseeing contractors, consultants and suppliers, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.
- Supporting the delivery of refurbishment, enhancement and construction projects.
- Coordinating reactive maintenance activities and responding to operational issues as they arise.
- Monitoring progress, quality, contractor performance and project risks.
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality standards.
- Maintaining accurate project records, reports and documentation.
- Conducting regular site inspections and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Building positive working relationships with contractors, stakeholders and colleagues.
- Supporting a collaborative and professional working environment.

What you'll bring
- Previous experience as a Site Manager, Construction Manager or in a similar role.
- Strong contractor management and coordination skills.
- Good understanding of health and safety legislation and best practice.
- Experience managing multiple projects, priorities and stakeholders simultaneously.
- Excellent organisational, communication and record-keeping skills.
- A proactive, practical approach with strong attention to detail.
- Confidence in resolving issues and making informed decisions.
- Flexibility, reliability and sound judgement.

Desirable
- SMSTS, CSCS or other relevant health and safety qualifications.
- Experience working on refurbishment, heritage or high-specification property projects.
- First Aid at Work qualification.
- Ability to interpret drawings, specifications and project programmes.
