Site Manager – Planned Works

Location: Greater Manchester
Job Type: Permanent

About the Role

Construction Resources are excited to be supporting a reputable housing and property services company in their search for an experienced Site Manager – Planned Works, based in Greater Manchester.

The successful candidate will oversee planned works projects, focusing on kitchen and bathroom installations within residential properties. You will be responsible for ensuring works are completed safely, on time, and to a high standard, while coordinating operatives, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Manage planned works projects involving kitchen and bathroom installations.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site operatives.
  • Monitor project progress to ensure deadlines and quality standards are met.
  • Ensure all health and safety requirements are followed on-site.
  • Carry out regular site inspections and manage snagging.
  • Maintain accurate site records, progress reports, and relevant paperwork.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, residents, and project teams.
  • Resolve any site issues to ensure projects run smoothly.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Site Manager within planned works or social housing.
  • Experience overseeing kitchen and bathroom installations.
  • Strong organisational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Good knowledge of health and safety regulations.
  • Ability to manage multiple activities and meet project deadlines.
  • SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid qualifications are desirable.
