🏗️ Site Manager / Project Manager
📍 London, West End
đź’Ľ Permanent
I’m working with a long-established main contractor who’ve been operating in the West End for over 40 years, delivering a mix of refurbishment and fit out projects across Soho, Covent Garden, and Carnaby.
It’s a small, close-knit team, so this is a genuinely unique opportunity. You’ll be working directly alongside the Managing Director, Contracts Manager, and Construction Director, getting hands-on mentorship and exposure you simply wouldn’t find in a larger business.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
They’ve built a fantastic long-term relationship with Shaftesbury Plc, who own much of the West End’s most recognisable streets. Projects range from small works to larger schemes up to £5m, often involving listed buildings and complex heritage refurbishments.
They’re looking for someone with a degree in construction (or similar) and a few years of site-based experience. The key thing is personality: someone presentable, personable, and a great communicator, with the drive to learn and grow into full project responsibility over time.
