Role Description
The Site Manager role is a temporary, on-site position located in Pembury, responsible for overseeing daily operations on the construction site. The Site Manager will coordinate and supervise site staff and subcontractors, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and to required quality standards.

- Managing site logistics

The role also involves:

- Contributing to efficient resource use and problem-solving throughout the project
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience managing construction sites, including supervision of trades, subcontractors, and site operatives.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, building regulations, and health and safety standards (e.g., CSCS, SMSTS or equivalent certifications preferred).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, project plans, and specifications, and translate them into clear site instructions.
- Effective communication and leadership skills, with the ability to coordinate teams, manage conflicts, and liaise with clients and stakeholders.
- Solid organizational and time-management abilities, including scheduling work, tracking progress, and maintaining accurate site documentation.
- Competence in basic IT tools and construction-related software for reporting, documentation, and coordination.
- Proven capability to identify and resolve site issues promptly while maintaining quality, safety, and budget considerations.
- Relevant construction management or trade background; formal qualifications in construction or civil engineering are an advantage.
