Site Agent | Civil Engineering | Defence & Nuclear Projects | Must hold Current SC Clearance
A leading engineering and infrastructure consultancy is looking for an experienced Site Agent to join their growing team, delivering major Civil Engineering, Defence, and Nuclear projects across the UK.
The Role
- Lead the safe and successful delivery of civil engineering projects on site
- Manage site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to achieve programme and quality objectives
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, Environmental, and Quality standards
- Drive project performance
- Coordinate RAMS, ITPs, Temporary Works, and Waste Management Plans
- Chair daily site briefings, progress meetings, and customer updates
- Maintain accurate site records, reports, and project documentation
- Identify value engineering opportunities and support commercial performance
- Work closely with Project Managers, Site Engineers, and Supervisors to ensure successful project delivery

Requirements
- Significant experience as a Site Agent within Civil Engineering
- Experience on Defence, Nuclear, or highly regulated infrastructure projects
- Strong understanding of NEC contract conditions and CDM Regulations
- Knowledge of civil engineering specifications, testing, and quality processes
- Degree or HNC in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- Valid CSCS Managers Card
- SMSTS or IOSH Managing Safely
- Experience with Temporary Works Design
- Confined Space Awareness training desirable
- Strong programme management, risk management, and leadership skills
- Excellent stakeholder, client-facing, and team management abilities
- Must currently hold Security Clearance
