Site Manager - SHDF Works

Due to continued growth and an expanding portfolio of decarbonisation projects, Connolly Ltd is looking for an experienced Site Manager to join our Social Housing team. This role offers the opportunity to lead SHDF projects across occupied homes, helping improve energy efficiency, reduce carbon emissions and enhance residents’ living environments. Typical works include External Wall Insulation (EWI), window and door replacements, roofing improvements and other energy efficiency upgrades.
The Role
As Site Manager, you'll oversee the day-to-day delivery of SHDF and retrofit projects, ensuring all works are completed safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing SHDF and decarbonisation projects from inception through to completion
- Coordinating direct labour, subcontractors and supply chain partners
- Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and in accordance with specifications
- Monitoring programme performance and reporting on project progress
- Managing quality inspections, compliance checks and project documentation
- Working closely with Commercial teams to manage project costs and budgets
- Maintaining site records, inductions and health & safety standards
- Building positive relationships with residents, clients and stakeholders

What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a Site Manager within refurbishment, retrofit or construction projects
- Experience delivering Social Housing projects from start to finish
- Knowledge of SHDF, PAS 2035, retrofit or energy efficiency works is highly desirable
- Valid SMSTS qualification
- First Aid at Work certification
- Full UK Driving Licence
